The Art of Synesthesia

THE ART OF SYNESTHESIA

Fragrance is sensed. Art makes it visible.

KIERIN’s multi-sensorial approach invites sight, scent, touch, voice, sound, memory and emotion to work in cooperation. We do not experience perfume with the nose alone. Color can set an expectation. Texture can slow the hand. A story can give scent a voice. Fragrance can unlock a place, a person or a future version of yourself.

WHY SHOULDN’T CLEAN BE COLORFUL?

Eco-friendly does not have to be beige.

The natural world is full of color. KIERIN celebrates life across the rainbow rather than treating responsibility as a requirement to look rough, unfinished or insistently “earthy.” Conscious design can be refined, polished and alive.

Modern art is our muse because KIERIN lives in the present. Color captures emotion. It can enhance energy and mood, and help move you in a direction chosen with intention. Fragrance becomes part of that act of manifestation: not a promise of magic, but a sensory cue for how you choose to enter the world.

A MULTI-SENSORIAL APPROACH

One experience, many points of awareness.

Synesthesia is the joining of sensory pathways—for some people, an involuntary neurological experience in which one sense evokes another. KIERIN uses the idea as an artistic lens. We pair fragrance with color, graphic form, tactile surfaces and story to make the cooperation among the senses more noticeable.

The goal is awareness, not instruction. There is no single “correct” color for a scent or emotion to feel. Your associations belong to you. KIERIN provides cues; you complete the experience.

VISUAL ART, TRANSLATED INTO SCENT

Each art language creates differently.

KIERIN does not use art simply to decorate a finished perfume. Each artistic movement offers a way of thinking—about contrast, composition, intimacy, energy and freedom—that can also guide fragrance creation.

POP ART

Impact made with less.

Pop Art creates more impact through reduction, not excess: a recognizable image, a decisive color, a repeated form. In fragrance, that becomes a clear, tightly edited composition in which fewer olfactive ideas speak more boldly. Familiar notes are isolated, amplified and given a graphic twist.

TATTOO ART

Identity projected from within.

Tattoo Art is where identity is not surface-level; it is what lives deep within, like ink beneath the skin. Base notes become the heroes. In fragrance, that translates into visceral compositions with powerful projection and exceptional longevity—bold scent signatures that announce themselves, endure and become inseparable from the wearer’s story.

GRAFFITI ART

A symphony of scent.

Graffiti uses whatever the mural demands: many colors, marks, layers and strokes assembled into one unmistakable statement. In fragrance, that freedom becomes a complex symphony of notes—rebellious yet elevated, loud, long-lasting and wholly individual. Each composition claims its space without asking permission.

ABSTRACT ART

A more personal atmosphere.

Abstract art communicates through mood, balance, color and suggestion rather than a fixed image. These fragrances translate that language into more personal, ethereal compositions that remain closer to the skin. Their presence is nuanced rather than loud, leaving room for memory, feeling and the wearer’s own interpretation to complete the work.

THE SOUNDS OF SCENT

Fragrance becomes audible when we give it language.

KIERIN fragrances have scent stories, and we share those stories aloud. At events, we explore the sounds of scent: the words, voices, music, rhythms and spontaneous associations a fragrance brings forward.

We encourage others to speak, too. What does the fragrance sound like to you? Is it a whisper or a beat, a crowded room or a quiet street, a remembered voice or a song without words? Conversation adds another sensory layer. No response is wrong; the exchange makes an invisible medium shared and present.

SCENT

The center.

Notes unfold over time, changing with skin, air and attention.

SIGHT

Color + form.

Palette and pattern create an emotional first impression before the first spray.

TOUCH

Texture + weight.

Matte, gloss, embossing, paper and glass make the idea physical.

SOUND

Voice + rhythm.

Scent stories, music and conversation give fragrance an audible dimension at events and beyond.

MEMORY

Meaning + intention.

The wearer connects every cue to a private memory, mood or desired direction.

CHOOSE WITH INTENTION

Wear the direction you want to move.

A fragrance can be a marker between states: quiet to expressive, familiar to adventurous, inward to social. Choose by notes, by color, by story or simply by instinct. The senses do not need to agree in words to cooperate in experience.
