The Art of Paper Packaging
THE ART OF PAPER PACKAGING
Paper, engineered with meaning.
KIERIN packaging treats paper as both structure and expression. Strength comes from folds. Beauty comes from restraint, proportion and detail. The experience is designed around wholeness: outside and inside, presentation and substance, object and personal meaning.

THE CHEVRON WITHIN
Strength, respect and balance.
The chevron is structural and symbolic. Repeated angles create strength from paper, while opposing directions meet in balance. Like yin and yang, the design is not about identical halves; it is about distinct forces completing a whole.
Placed inside the box, the chevron expresses respect for the person opening it. The interior is not treated as an afterthought. What is within matters as much as what is presented outside—just as fragrance is ultimately about your internal, personal experience.
PAPER AS A DESIGN LANGUAGE
Precision can transform a simple material.
The years founder Mona Maine de Biran spent in Japan shaped her appreciation for paper as an artful, architectural material. Origami reveals how a flat sheet can become dimensional through intelligence rather than excess. KIERIN carries that lesson into packaging through texture, folds, layers, proportion and carefully placed detail.

ENGRAVED CAPS
A mark made into the material.
The cap is engraved rather than dressed with an added decoration. The detail is lasting, tactile and integral to the object.

KNYC MONOGRAM
Embossing through light and shadow.
At the top of the box, the KNYC monogram is designed to be embossed. Dimension replaces noise: the mark reveals itself through touch, light and shadow.

MATTE + GLOSS
Contrast you notice twice.
A gloss icon catches the eye against the matte label, then asks to be noticed again through touch. One paper surface can hold more than one sensory experience.
DESIGNED AS A WHOLE
Four principles, one experience.
