KIERIN fragrances are created and manufactured in partnership with Robertet, our fragrance house and the supplier of 100% of our fragrance ingredients. We chose Robertet for extraordinary perfumery—and for its longstanding expertise in naturals, responsible sourcing, traceability and respect for the communities behind those materials.
Robertet is not a decorative affiliation. Its standards form part of the supply chain behind every KIERIN fragrance.

FROM SEED TO SCENT
Traceability begins at the source.
Robertet describes its Seed to Scent™ model as a vertically integrated approach designed to trace natural ingredients from their source through the final fragrance creation. Long-term agricultural partnerships, origin and quality verification, responsible purchasing practices and support for local communities are central to that work.
Robertet also favors responsibly and ethically sourced naturals—including fair-trade sources where available—while working to protect biodiversity and strengthen the communities connected to its raw materials.
NATURALS + SAFE SYNTHETICS
Source is not a safety shortcut.
Fine fragrance can draw from both natural and synthetic materials. We do not present one as inherently safer—or inherently more sustainable—than the other. What matters is the material, its purpose, how it is sourced and how it is used.
Natural materials bring extraordinary texture, variation and connection to place. Modern aroma materials give perfumers precision, stability and creative range, and can help reduce pressure on scarce natural resources. Thoughtful perfumery makes room for both.

KIERIN fragrances are formulated in accordance with applicable IFRA standards and reviewed for California Proposition 65 compliance. Our fragrances are vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free and phthalate-free.
MADE IN THE USA
Everything inside the bottle is created here.
Every KIERIN fragrance is created, macerated and filled in the United States. Finished products are packaged here as well, bringing fragrance development and production together close to home.
PURPOSEFUL PACKAGING
Less excess. More intention.
We favor recyclable glass, paper-based packaging and presentations without unnecessary cellophane. We design for beauty and function while questioning layers and materials that do not improve the product or the experience.
WHY THE OPAQUE BOTTLE?
Protection without unnecessary additives.
Light can affect the color and character of a fragrance over time. KIERIN’s opaque bottle helps shield the fragrance from ultraviolet light as part of the package itself. That physical protection means we do not need to add UV stabilizers simply to compensate for a clear bottle.
We also do not add dyes to make the fragrance liquid more visually dramatic. The fragrance is allowed to be what it is. If an addition does not improve the scent experience, its performance or its protection, we question whether it is required.
That is our pragmatism: purpose before ornament.
WHY PAPER-BASED PACKAGING?
Because responsibility should still feel considered.
Paper gives us structure, texture, folds, layers and embossing without relying on unnecessary plastic presentation. Inside the box, the chevron speaks to the part of KIERIN that matters most: substance, your internal experience and the personal story a fragrance becomes on skin. What is inside matters just as much—if not more—than what is outside.
VEGAN + CRUELTY-FREE
Kindness belongs in luxury.
Every KIERIN fragrance is vegan and cruelty-free. Neither our ingredients nor our finished products are tested on animals, and our suppliers and third parties follow the same standard. KIERIN is listed by PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies program.

WHAT SUSTAINABILITY MEANS TO KIERIN
No single material makes a perfume sustainable.
We do not believe a fragrance becomes sustainable because of one ingredient, one package or one certification. Conscious creation means making informed choices throughout the product’s life—from sourcing and formulation to manufacturing, packaging and how much unnecessary material reaches your home.
It also means being honest about progress. Materials, science, regulation and infrastructure evolve. Our responsibility is to keep asking better questions and improving the answers.

Are natural ingredients always safer?
No. Natural origin does not automatically make an ingredient safer, just as synthetic origin does not automatically make an ingredient harmful. Safety depends on the specific material, concentration, formulation and intended use.
Why does KIERIN use synthetic fragrance materials?
Modern aroma materials expand creative possibility, improve precision and stability, and can reduce demand for scarce natural resources. We select natural and synthetic materials for their contribution to the complete fragrance.
What does IFRA compliance mean?
IFRA publishes standards for the safe use of fragrance ingredients based on scientific assessment. KIERIN fragrances are formulated in accordance with applicable IFRA standards for their product category.
Where are KIERIN fragrances made?
Every KIERIN fragrance is created, macerated, filled and packaged as a finished product in the United States.
Who is Robertet?
Robertet is KIERIN’s fragrance house and supplies 100% of our fragrance ingredients. Founded in Grasse, it is known internationally for perfumery, natural raw materials, traceability and responsible sourcing.
Why does KIERIN use opaque bottles?
The opaque finish helps protect fragrance from ultraviolet light without relying on added UV stabilizers. We also do not add dyes merely to change the liquid’s appearance.
Can fragrance cause sensitivity?
Fragrance can cause irritation, allergy or sensitivity for some people even when a product is safe for most users. Read the product label, follow directions and discontinue use if irritation occurs. If you have a known fragrance allergy or sensitivity, review the product label and consult a qualified healthcare professional before use.
