WHAT INGREDIENTS DO YOU USE?

All of our fragrances meet the IFRA ingredient standards and the California Prop 65 Standards for ingredients. We do not use phthalates or parabens. We use only the highest quality essential oils, naturals, and synthetics. 

ARE YOUR FRAGRANCES CRUELTY FEE & VEGAN? 

Absolutely! Our fragrances are cruelty free and vegan. We never test our formulations on animals, and we don’t use animal products. We also do not hire or allow 3rd parties to test our products on animals.  We are proud to be recognized by PETA.ORG as one of the FEW cruelty free and vegan fragrance brands.

 

NICE WHITE BOTTLE, WHAT’S THE STORY?

Our bottles are made from recyclable glass and coated with a layer of white opaque natural paint. It protects the actual fragrance of sunlight, which means we don’t use perfume colorings and UV filters which could provoke potential allergies reactions.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EXTRAIT de PARFUM, EAU de PARFUM, EAU de TOILETTE AND COLOGNE?

With about 20-30% perfume oil concentration, Extrait de Parfum is impressive and generally the most concentrate form of parfum and it is prized for its power and rarity. Eau de Parfum is the next most concentrated and intense version of parfum, crafted with roughly 15 to 20% percent of fragrance oil.

Eau de toilette is lighter and made with roughly 5 to 15% oil while cologne, hair perfume and room sprays are the weakest with concentration from 1 to 5%.

Kierin’s generally available fragrances are Eau de Parfums which provide quality and long-lasting effects. Kierin Extrait de Parfums are limited edition. Tip- sign up to our email list for announcements!

DO YOUR FRAGRANCES PROVOKE ALLERGIC REACTIONS?

Although these ingredients are very much limited by IFRA recommendations (which we follow scrupulously), some of our fragrances may contain ingredients that a few people are allergic to. Most of these products come from natural ingredients. All of these ingredients are listed, according to the FDA regulation, under "Ingredients" on the packaging of each of our products. The important thing if you are allergic is to know what you are allergic to, before choosing a fragrance. We recommend everyone who has allergies or thinks they may be allergic to these ingredients take all necessary precautions. 

DO YOUR FRAGRANCES HARM THE ENVIRONMENT?

We believe that you can dispose of our products safely, as they are harmless to the environment. We encourage you to recycle our bottles and packaging, please.
